About this event
Holidays at Hagley is the daytime side of the season at Hagley Museum in Wilmington, built around 19th-century craft activities. Eleutherian Mills, the du Pont family home, is decorated with period-inspired touches and seasonal traditions. Down in the Workers' Hill village, visitors design Victorian-style holiday cards and collages and make their own ornaments, while gingerbread cookies come out of a wood-burning oven. A festive photo backdrop and a Santa visit on one Saturday round it out.
Our take: Come on a weekend or during Christmas week, when the Workers' Hill village craft tables are open.
Good to know
Daytime hours; closes early on Christmas Eve and is closed Christmas Day.
