About this event
Holiday Nights at Hagley opens Hagley Museum and Library after dark on select December evenings, extending its Holidays at Hagley season into the night. Past Holiday Nights have featured candlelit guided tours of Eleutherian Mills, the first du Pont family home built in the United States, decked out for the holidays; the festive displays of the annual amateur Gingerbread Contest in the historic Hagley barn; self-guided tours of the Nation of Inventors exhibition with its holiday and winter connections; and special discounts in the museum store, with shuttles carrying guests from the Visitor Center to the residence and the barn.
Our take: Book ahead and arrive early in the evening so you can see everything without rushing.
Parking
Use the Hagley Museum entrance at 200 Hagley Creek Road, not the Library entrance on Buck Road.
