About this event
Billed as the largest German Christmas market in Oregon, the Silverton Christmas Market in the historic town of Silverton combines 2 million twinkling lights with a German-inspired artisan vendor market, ice skating, snowless tubing, fire pits, Santa visits and live music in a family-friendly Biergarten. The Winter family, who founded it, drew on their German heritage, and the market brings imported gifts such as Erzgebirge-style incense smokers, plus Krampus sightings and traditions like collectible market mugs.
Our take: Head to the sweets booth for a lebkuchen gingerbread heart, and pick up a bag of roasted nuts, a German market staple.
