Spirit of Wilkes Car Show

Spirit of Wilkes turns North Wilkesboro Speedway into an antique and automotive weekend rooted in the track's racing legacy. Classics, customs, muscle cars, and more fill the infield, with an antique vendor market and swap meet running alongside the show. The gathering leans on old-school charm at the same grounds where racing history was written, so you can showcase a ride, hunt for treasures, or simply soak in the atmosphere. Arrive near gate open if you want time for both the car field and the vendor rows.

Our take: Budget a full day—the infield show and antique market are easy to shortchange if you only plan a quick walk-through.
