About this event
The Mooresville Christmas Parade has been a tradition since 1944, held on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving along Main Street in downtown Mooresville. Area first responders make a grand entrance with flashing lights and sirens, then the procession follows with floats, marching bands, dance and tumbling troupes, vintage and modern vehicles, an appearance by the Grinch and, of course, Santa.
Our take: Pick a side before you go: wear green if you're rooting for the Grinch, or red if Santa's your guy.
Parking
Park along the alternate routes or in the public lots off Broad and Church streets; about 1.5 miles of Main Street closes in sections from midday.
