About this event
Billed as the area's largest Christmas parade, Kernersville's downtown parade brings out more than two thousand participants. Expect marching bands, fire trucks, dance groups, antique cars, professionally decorated floats and an appearance from Santa, with every entry on a Christmas theme and only Christmas music allowed. The route starts at the corner of Pineview Drive and Highway 66 and follows East Mountain Street to West Mountain Street, finishing at Kernersville Elementary School.
Our take: With a mid-afternoon parade, you can still drive to the Tanglewood Festival of Lights in Clemmons for the evening.
