Robert G. Shaw Piedmont Triad Farmers Market

At the Robert G. Shaw Piedmont Triad Farmers Market in Colfax, run by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, growers come daily to sell produce, plants, ornamentals, meats and cheeses in two large Farmer's Buildings, where shoppers can talk with the farmers and buy any quantity. The year-round Market Shoppe adds handcrafted items, baked goods, candies, jams, jellies, honey, eggs, nuts and ice cream from vendors whose goods began on the farm. The grounds also hold the A.B. Seed garden center with its greenhouse and the Moose Cafe.
