About this event
The Tanglewood Festival of Lights is a drive-through show of more than a million LED lights winding for miles through Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, run by Forsyth County Parks & Recreation. It draws about 55,000 vehicles a year past storybook scenes and holiday displays. About halfway along the route, the Red Barn gift shop sells holiday crafts, specialty foods and handmade gifts, and the park offers horse-drawn carriage rides and tractor-pulled hayrides through the lights. Special nights let people run, walk or bring their dogs through the displays, and a midnight race rings in the New Year.
Our take: If you want a carriage ride or hayride, reserve early, since both are booked by reservation only.
