About this event
Santa Claus makes his entrance into Downtown Holland during the Parade of Lights, escorted by more than 80 floats, commercial vehicles, walkers and marching bands, all covered in thousands of sparkling lights. The procession starts at 8th Street and Columbia Avenue and heads west down 8th Street to Holland Civic Center Place, passing the shops of a downtown known for heated sidewalks that stay clear no matter how much snow is flying.
Our take: Make the parade the opening night of a longer stay for Dutch Winterfest, which runs through the rest of the week.
