About this event

Fulton Street Market has connected farmers, food creators, and artists to Grand Rapids since 1922. The year is split into two seasons. The main stretch offers fruits and vegetables, dairy and meat, snacks and desserts, hot and prepared food, and handmade arts and crafts. The property at 1145 Fulton Street East has over 100 customer parking spots, bike racks, and a Rapid Route 14 stop outside the Headhouse. EBT and Bridge Card funds convert to SNAP tokens at the Welcome Desk, and Double Up Food Bucks adds a match for fresh produce. A food recovery program collects produce at the end of Saturday markets for distribution in the Heartside neighborhood.

Our take: Ride Rapid Route 14 if you can, since it stops outside the Headhouse, and convert Bridge Card funds at the Welcome Desk before you shop.

Parking

Over 100 customer spots on the property. When full, extra spaces across Fuller Street at the Salvation Army (Saturdays only) or along Fountain and Fitzhugh. Bike racks on site.
