About this event
Magic at the Mill lights up Windmill Island Gardens on weekend evenings, centered on a tulip field of 1,000 LED blossoms that dance to holiday music in a light and music show. The famous DeZwaan windmill and the park grounds glow for the occasion, and visitors can ride the historic Dutch carousel, listen to an authentic Dutch street organ play holiday tunes and browse the gift shop. Children can greet Sinterklaas, and snacks and warm drinks are sold throughout the evening.
Our take: Pair a Friday at the mill with a downtown stroll on Holland's heated sidewalks and a turn at the Holland Ice Park.
