About this event
Christmas in St. Michaels is a weekend of holiday events run by an all-volunteer nonprofit that has raised more than $1.7 million for local nonprofit organizations in the Bay Hundred community since 1987, when volunteers came together to establish a day care center. The weekend's program has included a gingerbread competition and display, a marketplace and sweet shoppe, breakfast with Santa, the Christ Church Christmas Bazaar, a parade down Talbot Street, a tour of homes, holiday music and a lighted boat parade. Each year a limited-edition collectors ornament also raises money for local causes.
Our take: Saturday has traditionally been the fullest day, with the Talbot Street parade, the church bazaar and the lighted boat parade all on the schedule.
