About this event
Midnight Madness is the Downtown Annapolis Partnership's late-night holiday shopping tradition, styled after Norman Rockwell and Charles Dickens Christmas memories. Streets and storefronts are decked with trees, garlands, snowflakes, bows and lights to create a downtown winter wonderland, and free street entertainment fills Main Street, West Street, Maryland Avenue, State Circle, Market Space and Dock Street. Shops, galleries and boutiques stay open late with refreshments and sales, early arrivals can catch happy hour specials, and alpacas have been known to greet shoppers at the top of Main Street.
Our take: Arrive early for happy hour at a downtown restaurant, then shop your way down Main Street to City Dock.
