About this event

The 32nd Street Farmers Market has been a fixture of Baltimore's Waverly neighborhood for about 45 years, open every Saturday, year-round, rain, snow or shine. More than 70 booths fill the lot at 32nd and Barclay streets, and the market selects vendors who grow or make their own goods, from produce and baked goods to crafts. The market welcomes guest vendors and buskers, and it runs special events through the year along with free kitchen food-scrap drop-off. Its stated goal is simple: more access to healthy food and a stronger local economy.

Our take: Enter the market lot from Barclay at East 33rd Street, or skip the squeeze and use the Giant lot at 33rd and Frisbee or the Peabody Heights Brewery lot.

Parking

Free on-site lot (one-way entrance at East 33rd Street on Barclay Street), plus nearby side streets and the lots at Giant Foods (East 33rd and Frisbee) and Peabody Heights Brewery (East 30th and Barclay). Bike racks at the lot entrance; CityLink Red and Silver and Circulator stops nearby.

Good to know

Saturdays, 7 a.m.–noon, year-round.
