About this event
Christmas Village in Baltimore has brought a German-style Christmas market to West Shore Park at the Inner Harbor since 2013, modeled on Nuremberg's historic Christkindlesmarkt. More than 60 local and international vendors sell gifts from wooden booths lit by thousands of lights, anchored by the Glühwein Pyramid, a traditional German mulled wine tower. The village spreads across indoor and outdoor markets with a carousel, a Ferris wheel, a heated tent and a beer garden pouring Hofbräu, and Time Out has named it one of the best Christmas markets in the US.
Our take: Pair a mug of Glühwein with a freshly grilled bratwurst, then thaw out in the heated tent.
Parking
Discounted all-day parking at Harbor Court Garage (30 E. Lee St.) or Lockwood Place Garage; scan the market's QR code at the Carousel or Information Booth to redeem.
