About this event
The Baltimore Farmers' Market has been a Sunday hub since 1977 and is described as Maryland's largest farmers' market and the state's premier producer-only market. Managed by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, it sits at the intersection of the Jones Falls Expressway and Holliday and Saratoga Streets. Stalls cover fresh produce, artisanal meats, dairy, and seafood, plus handcrafted goods from clothing and home furnishings to bath products and artwork. The market is also a place to meet local businesses, organizations, and performers. It runs rain or shine, with an exception for Memorial Day weekend because of Artscape.
Our take: Arrive during the early Quiet Shopping Hours if you want a calmer walk through the stalls at Holliday and Saratoga.
