About this event
Baltimore's Jingle Bell Run loops twice through the Maryland Zoo before it opens to the public, with activities based at the Waterfowl Pavilion and a choice of a chip-timed or untimed 5K. Runners who also sign up for the Metro DC race can take the Back-to-Back Bells challenge, two timed 5Ks in two days, for exclusive swag, a custom bib and a unique finisher prize. Johns Hopkins Children's Center pediatric rheumatologist Dr. Belina Yi is the medical honoree.
Our take: The course closes when the zoo opens at 10, but activities continue until noon, so there's no rush to leave after you finish.
Good to know
Registration 7am; welcome program 7:45am; 5K 8:30am. Course closes 10am; activities until noon.
