Montpelier Farms Fall Festival

Montpelier Farms Fall Festival in Upper Marlboro is a family day on a 7-acre interactive corn maze, with pick-your-own pumpkins, giant hill slides, hayrides, and barnyard animals among more than 35 attractions on a general-admission ticket. Pig races, pumpkin bowling, a roping range, a public bonfire, the Red Barn Twister, and a combine slide share that list with a kids maze, corn pit, and trike track. A Super Pass adds the Super Mega Slide, duck races, paint-a-pumpkin, and Mining Mania for gems or seashells, and the Ultimate Pass also folds in paintball shots and a Build-a-Buddy. Every ticket is tied to a date and arrival time. Last admission is sold one hour before close.

Our take: Book the date and arrival time online, and skip the Super Mega Slide unless everyone in the group clears 42 inches.
