About this event

Capital Harvest on the Plaza, or CHoP, is a weekly market on Woodrow Wilson Plaza at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, at the corner of 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. Its mission is to foster community, stimulate economic development, and improve quality of life with local and sustainably sourced foods. Shoppers can buy seasonal goods, dine al fresco, catch chef demos and samplings, and pick up recipes. On the first and third Wednesdays, Capital Arts Collective adds jewelry, paintings, candles, and home goods. Signature bites include Bun'd Up gua bao, Dabarkads lumpia and sisig, DMV Empanadas' chicken empanada, El Jefe wood-fired pizza, and Fat Kale's kale salad with Greenhouse dressing. The plaza is a short walk from Federal Triangle or Metro Center.

Our take: Pick a first or third Wednesday if you want the Capital Arts Collective stalls alongside the food vendors.

Parking

Parking is available onsite in the Reagan Building's underground garage. Metro: Federal Triangle (blue/orange/silver) or Metro Center (red/blue/orange/silver).
