About this event
The Treme Fall Festival is built to keep the history and culture of Treme alive in New Orleans. Festival day is open to the public at St. Augustine Catholic Church yard and the surrounding neighborhood streets at 1205 Governor Nicholls Street. A second line through Treme opens the day with Social Pleasure Clubs, local brass bands, and Baby Dolls. Local musicians fill the stage, and a marketplace gathers food, artists, makers, and vendors tied to Treme and New Orleans.
Our take: Start with the second line through the neighborhood, then stay for the church-yard music and the marketplace.
