About this event
Boo at the Zoo at Audubon Zoo in New Orleans is a family Halloween weekend. Children 12 and under trick-or-treat at stations during daytime hours, and a haunted house sits among costumes and animal viewing. Friday is Li'l Boo, with activities aimed at younger children and an early evening outdoor movie. Saturday and Sunday are the classic daytime version. Candy uses sustainable palm oil, a choice tied to protecting orangutan habitat.
Our take: Pick Friday if you have younger children who would rather end with the outdoor movie than the busier weekend daytime hours.
Good to know
Li'l Boo Friday 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last entry 4 p.m. all three days. Costumes encouraged.
