About this event
ZooLights is held at the Smithsonian's National Zoo as a winter evening of twinkling lights and glowing animal lanterns. Visitors walk magical displays, hear live musical performances, and sip hot cocoa and other festive treats under one million environmentally friendly LED lights. The zoo frames it as a family-friendly, conservation-minded holiday tradition. The grounds sit at 3001 Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington, DC.
Our take: Walk the animal lanterns first, then catch a live musical performance with a hot cocoa in hand.
