About this event
The National Veterans Parade marches Constitution Avenue from the National Archives to the White House. Entries include marching bands, Jeeps, veteran service and support groups, ROTC and academy units, performing groups, pageant participants, and historic military entries. A field show the day before puts 20 high school marching bands on the Mall between the Washington Monument and the WWII Memorial and is open to the public.
Our take: Catch the field show on the Mall the day before if you want the high school bands up close, then line Constitution Avenue for the march to the White House.

Field show Saturday 9:00 am-4:00 pm on the Mall, open to the public. Parade Sunday on Constitution Avenue.
