About this event
Oglebay's Festival of Lights spreads millions of lights and holiday displays across Oglebay Park Resort at 465 Lodge Drive in Wheeling. The drive-through is the spine of the visit, with Santa's Village adding entertainment, bites, artisan shopping, ice skating, and train rides. Christmas at the Good Zoo includes select habitats, laser and light shows, and Wish for Snow. The hilltop path passes the Welcome Tree, the Mansion Light Show, Gardens of Light, and the SLEIGH pop-up bar. Lodge evenings add live music and a Nutcracker, plus Breakfast with Santa and holiday menus.
Our take: Drive the lights Monday through Wednesday and arrive between 5 and 6 pm if you want the shorter car line the resort advertises.
Good to know
The drive-through light show runs nightly from dusk to midnight, including holidays.
