About this event
Sewickley Light Up Night packs the village's business district with an evening of holiday entertainment. Live performances play on two stages, the main stage on Broad Street and a youth stage on Walnut Street, while horse-drawn carriage rides depart from Beaver Street and ice sculptors compete for prizes. Santa greets families in the gazebo at Wolcott Park, a kids' zone on the Borough Hall lawn offers cotton candy and face painting, the Sewickley Public Library hosts children's activities, and strolling characters roam the streets. The Lindsay Theater opens as a warming center, and fireworks cap off the night.
Our take: Fuel up at the 20-plus food trucks on Green Street before finding a spot for the fireworks finale.
Parking
Free parking at Heritage Valley Hospital, Sewickley Presbyterian Church, Sewickley Public Library, St. James Church, St. Stephen's Church and the YMCA upper lot.
