About this event
The Observer-Reporter's Holiday Market transforms the Community Pavilion in downtown Washington into a winter wonderland of shopping, food trucks, children's activities and live holiday entertainment, running until the start of the downtown parade. The evening brings horse and carriage rides, train rides, photos with Santa and an expanded kids' area, plus a free performance by the Washington Symphony Orchestra. Vendors range from local candle makers, boutiques and coffee roasters to food trucks.
Our take: Stay after the market for the parade on Main Street, since many downtown businesses stay open late with specials.
Parking
City Garage is $1 for 2 hours; surface and city lots are free after 5pm.
