About this event
The Wise Fall Fling fills Main Street in Wise, in the Appalachian Mountains and on the Crooked Road, with over 100 vendors selling crafts and food, while live mountain music plays from the Big Glades Amphitheater all weekend. The Town of Wise, the Wise Business Association and Pro-Art co-sponsor the festival. Performers include Ron Short and the Possum Playboys, the Appalachian Highlanders Pipes and Drums, the Country Cabin Line Dancers, the Center Stage Cloggers and the Scratch River Telegraph Company.
Our take: Saturday's stage runs from the 10 a.m. opening ceremony to Ron Short and the Possum Playboys at 4:30 p.m.; Sunday starts at noon.
Good to know
Saturday from 10 a.m.; Sunday from noon. Free and open to all.
