About this event
The Dinwiddie County Fair packs carnival rides and games, live shows, live music, fair food, and agriculture exhibits into a family weekend. Attractions include a circus, a stunt show, and pig racing, with live bands and pro wrestling on the entertainment slate. Saturday adds trick-or-treating at participating vendors for children 14 and under, a costume contest, and a car show at Virginia Motorsports Park on Boydton Plank Road.
Our take: Saturday is the day to combine the fair with trick-or-treating, the costume contest, and the car show at Virginia Motorsports Park.
Good to know
Children under 16 must be with a parent, guardian, or adult 21 or older. No pets except service animals and animals in sanctioned shows. Smoking only in designated areas.
