Hops in the Park

Hops in the Park is the Henricus Foundation's craft beer and history festival at the 1611 Citie of Henricus in Chesterfield County, the colonial town the nonprofit was created to bring back to life on the James River. More than 35 Virginia breweries pour alongside local ciders and wines, with brewing demonstrations, a crafts market, food trucks and live music at the blacksmith and bluff stages. Historical interpreters talk with visitors about life on the banks of the James River in the early 1600s, from Sir Thomas Dale to Pocahontas, and families are encouraged to explore the historic site.
