About this event
Ghouls in the Garden is a Halloween Day outdoor market organized by Petty Markets at Agecroft Hall & Gardens in Richmond, with trick-or-treating, local vendors and food trucks. Dozens of artists, makers and creatives set up in the gardens, and garden admission is free on market day. Agecroft Hall itself traveled by ship and train from Lancashire, England, to be reconstructed overlooking the James River in the 1920s, and it now shows centuries of English daily life.
Our take: Plan lunch around the food trucks, including Eat My Eggroll, Mama Vicky's and Wumami.
Parking
Garden admission free on market day; house museum at regular rates. Costumes shouldn't completely conceal the face.
