About this event
The Georgetown Christmas Stroll has gathered families in Historic Downtown Georgetown for more than four decades and now draws tens of thousands of visitors, making it one of Central Texas' most cherished holiday traditions. The Downtown Georgetown Association opens the weekend with the grand illumination of thousands of lights around the Square, dancing with the Grinch and an evening concert. The Christmas Parade brings colorful floats and local groups through downtown, while Santa's Village, face painting, a kids zone with a rock wall, more than 200 artisan and boutique vendors and local food trucks keep the Square busy.
Our take: Take a break from the vendor tents to browse the decorated storefronts, cafés and restaurants around the Square.
