About this event

Sweet Eats Adventure Farm calls its Georgetown festival the biggest in town, just north of Austin on State Highway 29. General admission covers a 4.5-acre themed corn maze the farm ranks among the largest in Texas, a pumpkin patch with more than 40 varieties, daily pig races, a petting zoo, pony rides, wagon rides, apple cannons and more than 30 farm activities. Hoggy Potter races Snoop Hoggy Hog, and a weekend candy cannon fires about 80 pounds of candy for guests to grab. October adds fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights except Halloween, plus Ember Fire Show, Sky Kings Falconry and Wild Things Zoofari, with a spider monkey, ring-tailed lemur, red kangaroo, toucan and a skunk named Flower. Pumpkins can be painted on site or taken home to carve.

Our take: Catch a pig race and the weekend candy cannon, then stay for a Friday or Saturday night if you want fireworks and the falconry show.
