About this event
The Texas Christkindl Market grew out of Arlington's sister-city relationship with Bad Königshofen, Germany, which spans more than 75 years, and its first season ran in 2011. Set on the North Plaza outside Globe Life Field, it also partners with Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the German "Christmas city," so shoppers will find handcrafted gifts and collectibles including Käthe Wohlfahrt merchandise and designs from Rothenburg's Christmas Village. German food stalls turn out bratwurst, schnitzel and fresh pretzels, and live music plays between the huts.
Our take: Warm up between shopping laps with a mug of glühwein and a bratwurst from the German food stalls.
