About this event
Fort Worth Volks Folks stages the VW Stampede and Round Up at Burger's Lake in Fort Worth, a rain-or-shine gathering of Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi vehicles across gas, water, and electric classes. Judging covers Best of Show, Best Engine, Best Interior, Best Paint, class winners, plus Volk Folks Club Choice and Burgers Lake Choice. The 2026 charity is Apollo Support & Rescue, which accepts dog and cat items on site. A food truck is on hand, or pack a picnic among 30 acres of shade trees and tables; Autobahn VW also brings new vehicles and giveaways in a VW Bus Trailer.
Our take: Bring a picnic blanket and plan to stay under the trees rather than treating it as a quick walk-through.
Parking
Camping is offered the night before with an award for best camp setup; email thetalepipe@yahoo.com to register for camping.
Good to know
Registration closes before judging; awards and trophy presentation are at the end of the show. Park closes later than the show, with gates locked after that.
