About this event
The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo fills the Will Rogers Memorial Center for three weeks, with pro rodeo at Dickies Arena and livestock and horse shows across the grounds. Grounds admission covers nearly everything except the rodeos, the Auditorium Entertainment Series and Mustang Magic, including a carnival midway, a trade show spread through the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall, the Richardson Bass building and the cattle barns, and kids' stops such as the Mooseum, a milking parlor, a petting zoo and pony rides.
Our take: Check the schedule for days marked Limited Livestock, when fewer competition animals are on the grounds between shows; the petting zoo and FFA Children's Barnyard stay open.
Parking
Parking is limited and lots fill quickly, with no in-and-out. Grounds admission does allow leaving and returning the same day.
Good to know
Grounds 8am–10:30pm daily; trade show 10am–7pm; rodeo doors open one hour before each performance.
