About this event
Mitchell Main Street and Beyond lights up downtown Mitchell with its Parade of Lights, an evening procession of illuminated entries up Main Street from 1st Avenue north to 9th Avenue, with judges picking favorites along the way. The final float is Santa himself, pulled in a horse-drawn wagon with bells chiming. Before the parade, Christmas at the Palace fills the Corn Palace with cookies and kids' activities.
