Twisted Nightmare Haunted House

Twisted Nightmare Haunted House in Brandon is run entirely by volunteers and uses the whole building for the scare, with most of the line outside. Tours are partially guided, usually 6 to 8 people, with 4 or 5 tours going at once, and larger groups may be split. Expect intense audio, strobes, fog, low visibility, damp spots, and moving floors. Fridays and Saturdays are generally busy, so an earlier night is the easier visit, and the wait outdoors means dressing for the weather.

Our take: Go on a Thursday if you want a shorter wait, and dress for standing outside because most of the line is outdoors.
