Hawley Winterfest

Hawley Winterfest is a beloved holiday tradition from the Downtown Hawley Partnership, kicking off with local community events on Friday and a festive craft and artisan market through the weekend. Past Winterfests have spread across the streets of Hawley, Bingham Park, local businesses and churches, with a Santa parade on Main Avenue, a bonfire and movie with hot chocolate, concerts, vendors and horse-drawn carriage rides. In past years downtown has been decked out for the season, with snowflakes on utility poles, lights strung across Main Avenue, a glowing bandstand and the Christmas Star on the ridge.

Our take: Leave time to shop the downtown storefronts between market stops, since the partnership has called Winterfest one of its biggest events of the year.
