About this event
Karin Meyer and Gudrun Rank founded the German Christmas Market of NJ in 2001 to share the traditions of their heritage with the Sparta community. The volunteer-run nonprofit has since moved to the Sussex County Fairgrounds and grown into what it calls New Jersey's largest Christmas market, donating its proceeds to local charities. Authentic wooden huts hold hand-crafted artisanal gifts, while traditional bratwurst and other German food, live choirs and festive entertainment round out the experience.
Our take: Make a meal of bratwurst and other German fare at the huts, then browse the artisan gifts with something warm in hand.

Ticketed; children 12 and under and veterans with ID get in free.
