About this event
Gresham's Spirit of Christmas kicks off the holiday season with a full day of family-friendly activities along North Main Avenue in the historic downtown. The day opens with a holiday breakfast at the Little Theater, followed by shopping, activities and a holiday market at North Main and 5th Avenue. As evening falls, the parade of lights, presented by Gresham Ford, follows Santa down Main Avenue to the Gresham Arts Plaza, where the tree lighting kicks off the Season of Joy and free photos with Santa follow. The Center for the Arts Foundation presents the celebration, which invites all of Gresham to share its many holidays and traditions.
Our take: Start with the holiday breakfast at the Little Theater, then stay downtown for the market, the parade and the tree lighting.
