About this event
The New York Stock Exchange has lit a Christmas tree outside its Wall Street home for more than a century, and the ceremony has grown into a community celebration that marks the start of the holiday season downtown. The iconic NYSE tree stands at 11 Wall Street, with live music, company activations and snacks and refreshments open to the public. A holiday market brings booths from NYSE-listed companies and charitable organizations, and hundreds of listed companies are honored with custom ornaments through the exchange's Global Giving Campaign.
Our take: Come at the start to browse the company and charity booths before the crowd builds for the lighting.
