Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (100th)

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade fills the streets of New York City with giant balloons, floats and costumed characters, and its lineup features 100 inflatable elements. Newcomers include Disney's Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey, Billie Brightpaw and Tom Jr., son of Tom Turkey, while Underdog takes his first flight since 1984 and Felix the Cat, the parade's first-ever character balloon in 1927, returns. A new float honors Tony Sarg, the creative genius behind the parade's signature elements, and the Blue Hippopotamus, last seen soaring beyond the Empire State Building after the 1931 parade, comes back.
