About this event
The Lake George Village Oktoberfest turns Canada Street, across from Shepard Park, into a Bavarian-style street fair over Columbus Day Weekend. The free event features nonstop German and polka music, traditional dancers, an Adirondack Brewery beer garden, local artisan vendors, carnival rides, keg tossing, stein hoisting, local wine and the Chicken Dance with the Dancing Chicken.
Our take: Come hungry for bratwurst, knackwurst, weisswurst and potato pancakes.
Good to know
Friday and Saturday noon–10 p.m., Sunday noon–5 p.m. Free entry.
