About this event
The Holiday Village Stroll is a Lake Placid tradition, a weekend of family- and couple-friendly fun in the winter wonderland of the Adirondack village. Recent strolls have included a scavenger hunt for holiday symbols hidden in Main Street shop windows, a storefront decorating contest, Santa's arrival by fire truck at Mid's Park, a tree lighting, free classic movies at the Palace Theatre, a craft and vendor fair, a Jingle Bell Run, free ski-jump lessons for kids at the Olympic Jumping Complex and a skating party on the Olympic Speed Skating Oval.
Our take: Aim for Saturday, which has recently packed in Santa's arrival and the tree lighting at Mid's Park.
