About this event
East Jersey Old Town Village in Piscataway turns its historic grounds into a family-friendly harvest stop at 1050 River Road. Visitors can wander, talk with living history interpreters, and hear an old-time string band. Beastro serves food, alongside pies, cider donuts, pickles, salsa, and preserves. Activities include accessible wagon rides, pumpkin picking, and a photo station, and Rutgers Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners share tips. The village opens across two Friday-to-Sunday runs.
Our take: Go when the string band is on if you want music with the pumpkin picking, and save room for cider donuts.
