About this event
Candlelight Stroll at Strawbery Banke Museum turns the Puddle Dock neighborhood out under candle boxes and string lights. Furnished houses from the late 18th century through the 1950s are trimmed with greens and dried flowers from the museum's heirloom gardens, and costumed roleplayers share family stories. Carolers, musicians, warm cider, and ice-dance performances fill the grounds. Horse-drawn carriage rides run on a first-come basis. The visit is self-guided.
Our take: There is no on-site parking, so use the Vintage Christmas trolley on Saturday or Sunday or walk in from an off-site spot with time to spare.
