About this event

The Exeter Farmers' Market, organized by Seacoast Eat Local, lines the shaded Swasey Parkway along the Squamscott River in downtown Exeter. Kids and families use the grassy areas for a picnic with live music and the river behind them, and you might see the Phillips Exeter Academy Crew Team rowing past. A bell opens and closes each market. Local musicians play every week, downtown shops sit next to the stalls, and SNAP tokens from the Market Info booth are matched dollar for dollar with Granite State Market Match.

Our take: Park in the Phillips Exeter Academy Water Street lot off Main Street, walk up the parkway, and stop at booths on the way back.

Parking

Phillips Exeter Academy Water Street Parking Lot, entrance just off Main Street on Water Street; handicap parking in that lot. Main Street spaces also allowed. Animals are not permitted along the parkway; service animals may enter.

Good to know

A bell opens and closes each market. Port-a-potties on site.
