About this event
The Seacoast Rotary Turkey Trot has grown into the largest Turkey Trot in New Hampshire, with more than 3,000 runners on a Thanksgiving morning 5K in Portsmouth. Registration is at Strawbery Banke and the race starts at the Pierce Island Boat Launch. Costumes are welcome, a turkey on your head included, and a particularly good outfit might earn a prize.
Our take: There's no parking at the start, but street parking is free and plentiful all over Portsmouth on the holiday, so park downtown and walk over.
Parking
Entry $30 adults, $20 ages 13–19, $10 ages 12 and under; fees rise $5 after Oct. 31. Bib pickup the day before, 3–6 p.m. at Little Harbor School, or race morning from 7 a.m. at Strawbery Banke.
