About this event
The Square Lighting ushers in the holidays on Historic Independence Square, when more than a mile of lights switch on after an evening of music, dancers and the arrival of Santa Claus. Kids can head to Santa's workshop in the Independence Uptown Market for reindeer games, crafts and letters to Santa, and visitors can take a sleigh ride around the square or grab hot chocolate in the shops.
Our take: Book a window seat at a restaurant on the square so you can watch the lights come on over dinner.
