About this event
A fall tradition for many Kansas City families, the Día de los Muertos festival at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art commemorates the richness and beauty of Latin American cultures. The day brings art activities, entertainment and traditional cuisine to one of the city's best-known museums, and museum admission includes entry to the festival, so it doubles as a chance to explore the galleries.
Our take: Leave time after the festival for the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park on the museum grounds, which makes an easy family walk.
